Course offering
Our teaching focuses on the management functions organization and human resource management. We thus address key non-financial functions which are crucial for the management of companies and non-profit-organizations, regardless of size or industry.
Our courses provide students with detailed insights into relevant theories, empirical research methods and important application-oriented instruments related to the organization and human resource management functions. The courses enable students to recognize and evaluate the parameters and practices of these functions, to gain and apply knowledge in empirical research and to develop general business problem-solving competencies.
We promote intense student-lecturer interaction and practical relevance in our courses, for example by using case studies and facilitating discussions as well as guest lectures by practitioners. In our master courses, we introduce students to empirical research methods and guide them in their application. We also supervise students intensively during their bachelor and master theses, for example by regularly offering a colloquium where they can present and discuss their theses with other students and staff members from the chair.
